When El Salvador passed the law to make Bitcoin official money, Salvadoran citizens opposed it.
According to the survey conducted by the Central American Country (UCA), the majority of El Salvadoran citizens said they did not know and do not trust bitcoin.
According to a survey conducted by the Jesuit university headquartered in El Salvador, 67.9% of respondents do not want bitcoin as a legal currency.
Despite the opposition of most citizens, the government will accept bitcoin as legal currency on September 7. The government has started preparations since the beginning of this week.
