Never-before-sold memorabilia and experiences will be available for sale at the SummerSlam event.
The products to be sold on the NFT platform will be divided into two parts, as two separate levels.
Platinum-tier NFTs will be exhibited at the Platinum-tier auction and will include a one-on-one special NFT. The highest bidder will receive a two-person ticket to WrestleMania 38 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas in 2022 or to WrestleMania 39 in 2023 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. The auction winner will receive a custom-made WWE Championship Title Belt with the winner's name on the side plates.
Gold-tier NFTs, on the other hand, will launch after the Gold-tier auction platinum sales are closed and will include 500 limited-edition NFTs along with a limited-edition box of items.
Scott Zanghellini, Senior Vice President of WWE, said:
“It will be closed with an extraordinary main event at SummerSlam and the opportunity for the WWE Universe to have unique collections inspired by one of Hollywood's biggest stars today.”
WWE has partnered with Bitski for the launch of NFTs. Tokenized collectibles will be available on both platforms, Bitski and WWE.com/NFT.
