TikTok announces partnership with Ethereum-based music streaming platform

TikTok has become the most downloaded social media application in the world with the popularity it has gained so far. The popular app has partnered with blockchain-based project Audius as its first partner in the music streaming space.
Artists using the TikTok application, which has risen to the top as the most popular social media application of recent years, will be able to publish their music under the "TikTok Sounds" section.
Audius is a decentralized music-sharing application that facilitates direct transactions between listeners and musicians, giving anyone the freedom to distribute, monetize and publish any audio content. The Audius application was initially launched on the Ethereum-based POA network. On the other hand, Audius, which announced that it has reached five million monthly users at the beginning of this month, has become the most widely used application supported by blockchain technology.
Although there are not many well-known artists in the application yet, some famous names have joined the platform. American DJ Skrillex is one of them.
Additionally, artists will be able to use Audius' native token AUDIO coin to earn profits through staking.
