JP Morgan Chase bank suspended the accounts of Bitcoin mining company Compass Mining and halted all its activities.
On top of that, Whit Gibbs, CEO of Compass Mining, said:
“This move shows that we are doing our part to support Bitcoin, the digital currency that will change the future. So please stay out of our way.”
Gibbs stated in his other posts that the company does not need JP Morgan to continue its activities, adding the following words.
“Fortunately, the company does not entrust its finances to a dusty institution alone, so our business activities continue as usual.”
The reason for the suspension of the accounts is unknown, as JP Morgan has not yet made a statement on the matter.
