Kevin O'Leary, head of O'Shares ETFs, spoke during the interview about regulators' institutional recognition of cryptoassets. O'Leary is considering doubling his crypto holdings as per his plans.
Kevin O'Leary said:
“I don't want to get involved in crypto if the regulators say it's inappropriate. I can't afford to be offside, I can't afford to break the rules."
Kevin O'Leary plans to attract more investors as crypto becomes more recognized as an institutional asset class, and based on that, he said:
“I want to increase my crypto investment from 3% currently to 7% by the end of the year.”
