Investment giant managing $1.4 trillion assets seeks crypto experts

Investment giant company Franklin Templeton has posted a job posting for a cryptocurrency specialist.
Franklin Templeton, which manages more than $1.4 trillion in assets, is one of the largest independent asset managers in the world.
The job posting was published on the LinkedIn platform on September 1. According to the ad, the US asset manager is seeking two mid-and senior-level experts to lead the cryptocurrency trading and research team.
The newly opened positions were created to find professionals to work on the "biggest, most liquid and tradable crypto-assets", including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The analyst, who will join the team, is expected to lead Franklin Templeton's new products in the cryptocurrency sector and work to expand the portfolio.
For the trader position, expected features include "quantitative trader, being able to work with developers to create tools to support the growth of the platform, or offer process automation to create new tools".
Franklin Templeton is one of the world's largest independent asset managers, offering several professionally managed mutual funds. In recent years, the company has been trying to add the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry to its business structure.
