On Friday, total crypto assets under Grayscale management reached $47 billion. US-based digital asset management firm Grayscale owns more than 3 million Ethereums with a total value of more than $12 billion. Ethereum is the second-largest asset of the company portfolio. The value of Grayscale's Ethereum holdings has skyrocketed over the past 6 weeks after ETH surged nearly 100% in the given period.

The New York-based digital asset manager has several other cryptocurrency investment partnerships besides Bitcoin and Ethereum Trust. Ethereum Classic Trust, Litecoin Trust, and Bitcoin Cash Trust are the biggest ones.
Grayscale started 2021 with nearly $20 billion worth of crypto AUMs. As the company accelerated its Ethereum and Bitcoin accumulation in the first quarter of 2021, the total value of the digital assets managed by the company exceeded $50 billion in April.
