According to some sources, Fidelity held a special meeting with the SEC. Among those present at the meeting was Kyle Murray, vice president of the CBOE. The topic of the meeting was the Bitcoin ETF proposal. In its presentation at the meeting, Fidelity explained why ETFs must be approved by regulators.
According to Fidelity's work, investors will be able to directly invest in Bitcoin through ETPs.
As it is known, Fidelity has been tied to Bitcoin for a long time. In March, the company's subsidiary FD Funds Management applied to launch bitcoin EFT.
