Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman Jelena McWilliams said that banks need to let customers hold crypto.
In an interview in Las Vegas, Jelena McWilliams said:
“I think we need to let banks in this space, while appropriately managing and mitigating risks.”
McWilliams said banks are striving to accept crypto assets and digital assets as collateral.
