Elon Musk posed a question to his followers in his survey on Twitter last week. Musk asked, “Should I sell 10% of Tesla shares?” he had asked. Saying that he will comply with the results of the survey, Elon Musk kept his promise.
He reported that five million sales had occurred a few days after the survey was completed. The question of whether Elon Musk would sell most of Tesla shares over the weekend also attracted the attention of his followers. The vast majority of followers chose "yes" in the poll. Following the conclusion of the survey, Musk disposed of 3.6 million shares of Tesla, worth approximately $4 billion, as a result of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 9.
