According to Coinbase's announcement, the Shiba Inu is ready to trade. It was previously announced that the Shiba Inu token will be listed on the Binance.US platform, the US arm of the Binance exchange. Increasingly popular, the Shiba Inu can now be traded on Coinbase.
The Shiba Inu was originally supposed to be added to Coinbase Pro, the professional arm of the exchange, along with Chiliz (CHZ) and Keep Network (KEEP) on June 17. However, due to technical glitches, the listing was delayed indefinitely.
The SHIB token, which is listed at #51 on the CoinMarketCap ranking, has gained almost 14% in the last 24 hours. The Shiba Inu emerged as an overnight success story in May in the wake of the Dogecoin craze, turning some of its holders into multi-millionaires. However, it later lost value and is now trading down 81 percent from its all-time high.
