The leader of The People's Party in Canada expressed his support for Bitcoin.
Leader Maxime Bernier announced his support for crypto money shortly before the elections. And on top of being talked about on this subject, Bernier tweeted:
“I hate to see how central banks are destroying our money and our economy. I'm more of an old-fashioned gold and silver fan, but cryptos are another new and innovative way to counter this that should be encouraged.”
The political party leader criticized Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for abusing "Keynesian apparatuses" at the Bank of Canada and printing money to cover "massive deficits".
Bernier's tweet was supported by Bitcoin supporters.
