In a recent interview, Ark Invest founder Cathie Wood was asked about her Bitcoin price prediction over the next five years. Wood answered this question with the figure of $ 500,000 per Bitcoin. She said she believes the price of the most popular cryptocurrency will rise tenfold in five years.
Wood-led Ark Invest has invested millions in Bitcoin through the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust ($GBTC). She is also known to invest directly in crypto companies like Coinbase. During the conference, Wood said he believes institutions will continue to explore the crypto market and that many more will add BTC to their balance sheets.
When Wood was asked whether he would stick to Bitcoin investments, he spoke of El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin, saying that Bitcoin is the default option as countries are now starting to accept it as legal tender.
