The crypto sector in Africa has started to grow considerably. Among the reasons for this growth is the ability of users to transfer money easily.
Artur Schaback, co-founder and COO of P2P exchange Paxful, said in a statement that the platform grew by 57%, especially in Nigeria, and over 300% in Kenya.
Thanks to P2P markets, African citizens will be able to transfer money easily.
Schaback said that apart from money transfers, traders can easily transact.
“If you are working with a Chinese partner to import goods to be sold in Nigeria or Kenya, it can be quite difficult to send enough fiat money to China to complete your purchases. It is usually easier to buy and send Bitcoin on a P2P exchange.”
