Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that all its users must perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.
Binance said in its announcement that non-verifying accounts can only withdraw cryptocurrencies. Normally, users can perform basic verification, but according to the new announcement, they are required to complete the middle layer.
In the middle layer, users are asked for an ID photo and selfie.
It is thought that Binance wants to be a more reliable and robust platform as the reason for this verification request.
